Former economic advisor to the Government of Kyrgyzstan;
Advisor to the World Islamic League, Jeddah;
Current President of the Fatwa and Sharia Supervision Boards in the following Islamic Banks and financial institutions: Dubai Islamic Bank (Dubai), Sharjah Islamic Bank (Sharjah), Emirates Islamic Bank (Dubai), Mashreqbank (Dubai), First Gulf Bank (Abu Dhabi), Al Salam Bank (Sudan), Liquidity Management Centre (Bahrain), Dubai Islamic Insurance Company «Aman» (Dubai), Amlak Finance Company (Dubai), Tamweel Finance (Dubai);
Member of the Fatwa and Sharia Supervision of the Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah;
Vice President of the Islamic International Rating Agency;
Member of Sharia Standard Committee of Accounting and Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions;

ZAKAH

Tejoori will donate 2.5% of its net asset value on an annual basis to charities for distribution to social causes. All shareholders will be given the opportunity on an annual basis to vote on a majority basis for up to a maximum of ten individual charities, which will receive 50% of this amount. The remaining 50% shall be placed with the Tejoori Foundation, which will be established as a regulated charity for the promotion of multicultural understanding and building bridges between cultures and countries through educational initiatives.
