علمت " الشرق" أن عددا من البنوك تعمل على استكمال استعداداتها الفنية لدخول للبورصة كوسيط مالي في مقدمتهم بنك قطر الوطني والتجاري والبنك الأهلي وذلك ما بين منتصف شهر أبريل وبداية مايو ، وقد قال السيد أندريه وينت الرئيس التنفيذي للبورصة في وقت سابق إن ذلك يمثل «جزءا من إستراتيجيتنا مع هذه المبادرة هو التنويع، وذلك من خلال السماح للبنوك الوطنية في الدولة بالحصول على تراخيص لمزاولة أنشطة الخدمات المالية، وتمكينها من الانضمام إلى عضوية بورصة قطر، وأن مسار قطاع الخدمات المالية يتطور ليمثل خطوة إيجابية أخرى في هذا القطاع كما علمت الشرق أن البورصة ستعقد يوم الثلاثاء القادم ندوة حول الصكوك والسندات لفائدة الوسطاء

no , the reason of this to increase the number of brokerage companies

but in dubai as per my information there were many brokerage companies but after the financial crisis most of these got brankupt

also its not practical to have new brokerage companies in a market that has only around 40 companies listed???? just an opinion...
