I feel so worthless and useless just like a tiny green leaf, on an old tree in a huge garden!

Very little, and nobody notices me sitting there. I am in their eyes just a tiny part of the big picture, and whether I stick in my place or not they don’t care!

If I turn yellow and fall down and fly with the wind, no one will notice my empty spot where I used to sit all day watching them. They know that there are lots of other green leaves around me, and another green leaf will grow in my place for sure, so why would they care.

I wish I was a strong huge stem carrying all the leaves and branches and all the other living things in the tree! This is how they will notice me, then I will be very useful and important. I will give shade and beauty to everyone, and everybody would be delighted to sit around me!

I even wish I was a branch, I will carry all the leaves and fruits and birds, the children would love to hang on me, and tie their swings!

I wish I was a fruit something delicious and rare, or even something common like an apple or a banana!
I wish I was a colorful flower, people will be delighted by my seen in the tree, girls will race to smell me, and I will decorate weddings and castles, and even if I fall down someone will pick me up for sure unlike a dry little leaf, or even better someone will make a perfume out of me!

No I am not worthless, some leaves are very useful, and some trees are planted for their leaves. maybe I am a tea tree leaf! And people will make a comforting drink of me!

Or maybe I am a poisonous leaf and people will avoid me and clean their gardens of me!
