Relationship Manager, Business Banking
Position summary:
This role is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with Business clients to fulfill their banking requirements. Establish customer relationships by regularly meeting with them, at clients’ premises and at the bank, checking their accounts and ensuring that the credit loans approved for the clients are available to them through the system. Assist credit administration in completing documentation.
Main Accountabilities:
• Analysis of working capital requirements for clients.
• Monitors financial health of the clients business and industry.
• Analyze customer’s balance sheets and study cash flows on projects
• Define customers' needs in terms of facilities and prepare proper structure of the facilities
• Develops, enhances and maintains relationships with prospective clients to ensure revenue / profit targets are met /exceeded.
• Ensure an optimized and proper facility utilization to enhance the account’s profitability while keeping risks versus rewards at acceptable levels
• Ensure that service quality norms and client satisfaction scores are met for their set of clients
• Plans regular customer visits at their premises
• Prepares/ initiates credit approval notes for clients and ensures that credit applications including renewals are correctly prepared in accordance with the bank's polices and regulatory framework
• Solicit new business from existing and potential prospects (assets and Liabilities) in accordance with specified objectives
• Takes initiative for cross selling Business products for the Business segment
Education/Experience:
• BA / with specialization in Finance, Banking (MBA would be a plus)
• 2-4 years of experience in relationship management and commercial lending
• Understanding trade finance.
